Rabbi Eve Eichenholtz grew up on Long Island and is a product of the Conservative Movement. As a student she attended synagogue Hebrew schools, Camp Ramah, Solomon Schechter Day School.  She holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College, and a B.A. in Bible from the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she began rabbinical school.  After transferring, she was ordained in 2013 by the Academy for Jewish Religion in New York.

The rabbinate has brought Rabbi Eichenholtz to communities across the United States and as far away as Israel. She has served diverse congregations, specializing in small and mid-sized synagogues, where she prides herself on knowing everyone’s names and stories.

When leading services, Rabbi Eichenholtz brings in her love of song, story, teaching and theater, combined with energy and enthusiasm. As a teacher, she strives to find the unique threads within Judaism which will capture each learner’s attention. Rabbi Eichenholtz greatly enjoys facilitating personal reflection, individual support, and communal growth through her work.
In addition to her pursuits within the Jewish community, Rabbi Eichenholtz actively and passionately cultivates relationships with other faith-based groups. She has served as an adjunct chaplain at a local university and a volunteer chaplain with the hospital and police department.
In her time off, Rabbi Eichenholtz enjoys cooking, theater and all things ice-hockey.
