We look forward to welcoming you
Congregation Agudat Achim (CAA) is comitted to providing a warm and welcoming home to anyone looking to experience a rich and meaningful Jewish life.
Our prayer services, classes, holiday celebrations and other programs are opportunities to find a personal connection to God, Torah, and Jewish tradition.
We seek to foster a strong sense of local community as well as a connection to the Jewish people worldwide.
We partner with other synagogues, our regional Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, and other faith-based organizations on events and initiatives throughout the year.
While CAA is a member of the Conservative movement, our members identify across the Jewish spectrum as we share and explore the beauty of our faith, heritage, and way of life.
Upcoming Events
Selichot
The official start of the High Holiday liturgical season.
Join us Saturday Night, September 28th at 7:00pm
We will begin with an introduction to our movie of the night Maktub.
"The biggest Israeli blockbuster since 1986 . Steve and Chuma , two criminals are the sole survivors of a terrorist attack at a restaurant in Jerusalem. They decide to change their ways and become flesh and blood angels. They go on a journey of wish fulfillment for people who write requests on paper and put between the sacred stones of the Wailing Wall."
After the movie and discussion we will turn to our short Selichot service, beginning the prayers and melodies of the High Holidays and get our sanctuary ready, by changing the Torah covers.
